Community guidelines

The community board and live chat are for real people talking things through. No judgment, no shame, no names attached. Here's everything in one place.

Board rules

  • No violence or threats — toward anyone, including yourself.
  • No identifying information — no full names, phone numbers, addresses, workplaces or socials (yours or theirs).
  • No hate speech — nothing targeting who someone is.
  • Swearing is fine. Swearing at people, or every other word, is not.

How to post

  1. Open the Board tab and tap “Ask the community.”
  2. Pick the category that fits your situation.
  3. Write a one-line title, then a few sentences of context.
  4. Tap “Post anonymously.” It runs a quick safety check, then goes live.
  5. You appear under a random handle like “Quiet Heron” — never your real name or email.
  6. You can edit or delete your own post or reply at any time.

Live chat rules

  • Anyone signed in can read live chat. Sending messages is a Premium feature.
  • No violence or threats — not as a joke, not about anyone.
  • No identifying information: no full names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, workplaces or socials.
  • No hate speech or slurs.
  • Swearing is fine. Swearing at people, or every other word, is not.
  • No spam, selling, scams or link dumping.
  • Every message is safety-checked before it posts. Moderators can delete anything, and you can report any message you didn't write.

Example post

He cancelled on me twice this week — am I overreacting?

We've been seeing each other about three months. He cancelled Tuesday an hour before, then again Friday, both times for work. He still texts every day and says he wants to see me. I don't want to be the person who makes a thing out of nothing, but I feel like I'm always the one rearranging my week. How would you bring this up without sounding clingy?

Quiet Heron replied

Twice in one week is a pattern, not a fluke. Say the plain version: "I like seeing you, and last-minute cancellations throw my week off — can we pick days we both actually protect?" His answer tells you everything.
