Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address and authentication details when you sign up.
• Conversations — the messages you send, the AI replies you receive, custom friends you create, and screenshots you upload for Show the Group analysis.
• Billing information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we store your subscription status, plan, and renewal dates.
• Usage information — basic technical data needed to operate the Service, like daily message counts.

• To provide the Service: generating AI replies, keeping conversation history, remembering context.
• To enforce plan limits (like the free 15-messages-per-day allowance).
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and your conversations are not shared publicly. Your conversations are private to your account unless you explicitly choose to share a single response as a shareable card.

To generate replies, the content of your messages (and screenshots you upload for Show the Group) is processed by AI models through our infrastructure providers. These providers process the data on our behalf to deliver the Service; they don't use your conversations to build public models.

If you use the community board or live chat, what you post there is not private to your account. Posts, replies and chat messages are visible to other signed-in members (and, for invite rooms, to that room's members), alongside a randomly assigned anonymous handle. We don't display your name or email, but your handle is consistent across your posts, so don't include details that could identify you.

To keep the community safe we store the automated safety-check results for each post, reply and chat message (whether it passed, the categories flagged, and the reason), along with any reports you file or that are filed about your content. Moderators can see this information and can remove content or restrict accounts. Deleting a post, reply or message removes it from the community; safety and report records may be retained for a limited period for abuse prevention.

Conversations and uploads are tied to your account and protected by row-level access controls, so only you can read them. Access is denied by default. That said, no system is perfectly secure — please don't share highly sensitive information (passwords, government IDs, financial account numbers) in chat.

We keep your conversations and account data while your account is active so the Service can remember context and show your history. Screenshots you upload are stored in your private storage area until you delete them or your account.

You can delete your account and its data at any time:

1. In the app: go to Profile → Account → Delete account and confirm.
2. Or email us at support@maternalmenace.com and we'll delete it for you.

Deleting your account permanently removes your conversations, messages, custom friends, uploaded screenshots, community board posts and replies, live chat messages, anonymous handle, and profile from our active systems. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it first from the subscription page or customer portal — billing is handled by Stripe, and deleting your app account does not by itself stop a paid billing period. Backup copies may persist for a short period before being overwritten.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these through the account settings in the app or by emailing support@maternalmenace.com. Where required by law, we'll respond within the applicable timeframe.

Talk It Out is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, email us at support@maternalmenace.com and we'll remove it.
