Terms of Service

Talk It Out is an AI-powered group chat experience. The "friends" (Maya, Jess, Tara, Alex, Riley, Morgan, and any custom friends you create) are AI personalities, not real people. They can be insightful, but they can also be wrong.

The Service is for casual, peer-style conversation. It is not a medical, mental-health, legal, or financial service. Nothing the AI friends say is professional advice, and it can't diagnose or treat anything. If you're in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a local crisis line immediately.

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials private. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Attempt to bypass message limits, paywalls, or other access controls.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its AI systems.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Free accounts include 15 successfully processed user messages per day, the default friend group, and basic conversation history. Premium is available for $8/month or $58/year and includes unlimited conversations, Show the Group screenshot analysis, custom friends, longer memory, full history and search, advanced advice modes, and custom group configuration.

Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. New subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial that requires a payment method up front; unless you cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged the plan price you selected when the trial converts. You can view your plan, next billing date, and invoices, and cancel at any time, from the subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; we don't offer prorated refunds for unused time except where required by law.

Prices may change with advance notice before your next renewal.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account, or by emailing us at support@maternalmenace.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your conversations, messages, custom friends, and profile from our active systems. Active paid subscriptions must be cancelled separately (from the subscription page or customer portal) — deleting your account does not automatically refund or stop a billing period that has already been paid. You own the content you share with the Service. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the Service (for example, generating AI replies). The Service itself — its design, branding, and AI personalities — belongs to Maternal Menace.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI responses are generated content and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation; you use them at your own discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maternal Menace is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Questions? Reach us at support@maternalmenace.com.
